Tooqly provides free image and PDF tools on the web at tooqly.com and as an app for Android. This policy explains what information is collected when you use either of them.
All file processing — image conversion, compression, PDF conversion and reading text from pictures — happens locally in your web browser. Your images and documents are never uploaded to our servers, and we cannot see, store or share them.
The website may show ads from Google AdSense. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising through Google Ads Settings at google.com/settings/ads or through aboutads.info/choices. More detail is available in Google’s page on how it uses information from sites that use its services.
The website’s hosting provider may collect standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, for security and performance purposes.
The Tooqly app for Android processes your images and PDFs entirely on your phone. Files you choose are never uploaded to us or to anyone else, and every tool works without an internet connection.
Tooqly does not collect or store any personal information itself, and the app has no account system.
The app shows ads served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, the Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect your device’s advertising ID, approximate location (derived from your IP address), app interaction and diagnostic data, and share it with Google, as described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Your images and PDFs are never part of this.
Users in the EEA, the UK, Switzerland and US states with privacy laws are asked for their choice first, and can change it at any time from Privacy choices at the bottom of the app’s home screen. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone’s Settings (Privacy > Ads).
The app may check Google Play for a newer version of Tooqly. This check is handled by the Google Play Store app on your phone under Google’s own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy); Tooqly receives no information from it.
Permissions: on Android 9 and older the app asks for storage access only to save the files you create to your gallery. On newer versions it needs no permission for your files. Internet access is used only to load ads.
Tooqly is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
